Christmas Village, by Jack Gilhooly, tells the story of two children who visit their grandparents' house at Christmas and discover they are able to go inside a small table top Christmas Village to visit the people who live there. They find they have a new family and new challenges. As they travel between the table top Village and their grandparents' house, they have the most magical Christmas they have ever had.

John Westin's latest novel, The Spy Book, takes place in 1990, when the Soviet Union's economy is failing and the Soviets are desperate to turn their economic troubles around. Nick Boorstin, one of their American agents who lives in Brooklyn, assigns Natalie Kramer, his mole in Charlottesville, Virginia, to enlist the help of Professor Eugene Thurston in the guise of writing a book about the Soviet economy. The book is written, but the Soviets are stunned and angry when they discover Thurston has arranged to publish their top-secret information in the United States. The campus is soon crawling with Soviet and F.B.I. agents.
